Who handles refunds

When you buy from a Shedful-powered store, you are buying directly from an independent seller ("baker"). Refunds and disputes are handled by the baker, not by Shedful. Shedful is the software platform — we are not a party to the sale.

Each baker sets their own refund policy, which is displayed on their store page. Please read it before you buy.

How to contact the baker

Every Shedful store has a messaging feature — use it to contact the baker directly with any query, complaint, or refund request. You can find the contact button on the store page.

Food products — general position

Most products sold through Shedful stores are perishable food items. Refunds on perishable goods are at the baker's discretion, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Common grounds on which a baker may offer a refund:

  • The product was significantly different from its description.
  • The product was not available at the shed when you arrived to collect it.
  • A technical error resulted in a duplicate or incorrect charge.

Allergens

Allergen information is provided by the baker and is their responsibility. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, always check the product description carefully and contact the baker before purchasing if you are unsure. Shedful does not verify allergen information.

Card disputes (chargebacks)

If you paid by card and cannot resolve your dispute directly with the baker, you may be able to raise a chargeback with your card provider. This is your right under UK banking regulations and is separate from the baker's refund policy.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Shedful's role

If you believe Shedful has acted improperly as a platform operator, you can contact us at support@shedful.app. We are not able to intervene in disputes between customers and bakers or compel a baker to issue a refund, but we take platform misuse seriously.
